I am finally back!
…And falling asleep. Darn you, Jet Lag! But I’m trying to be good and stay awake (besides, I loathe taking naps; I always wake up feeling more tired than I was originally).
The last twelve days of my life have been beyond perfect. But there’s so much to write about, I don’t know where to begin. I think I need to take a few days and get my thoughts together (hopefully I’ll be more able to write coherent posts when my brain synchronizes with the time change). However, my posts have been picture-less for too long now, so I will at least leave you with a few photos before I go.
Above, our cruise ship, the Crystal Serenity (with a smaller ship on the right, to show how humungous our boat was)
My mommy and me– on the top deck of the ship. This picture reminds me of a postcard; we were soooo lucky that the weather was bright and blue for the entirety of the cruise.
Soon, I promise, I will finally get around to blogging about my cruise. For now, though, I need to find an activity that’ll keep me awake. Unfortunately, staring at a computer screen is not the best for this…

I’m horrible when it comes to jet-lag. I just cannot stay awake! It’s because I have a very tight sleeping routine since I was a kid…
I’m glad you had such a nice time 🙂
awww! i am glad you have such a good relationship with your momma! they are the best 🙂 can’t wait to hear about your food-ventures!
You’re back, you’re back! The ship looks beautiful. I can’t wait to hear more about your trip!! Get some rest now. 🙂
yay! welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can’t wait to hear about your rock’n cruise!!!!!!! 😀
How beautiful! I’ve never been on a cruise, but now I really wanna go!
Welcome back! I’m glad you had a great time! So pretty…you and the blueness!
You look so happy and refreshed! I’m glad you had a good time and I can’t wait to hear all about it.
I can’t wait to hear all about it, Katie! I can already tell you had an amazing time–and why wouldn’t you?! What a trip!
What an amazing view! I can’t wait to hear about the trip!
No way! I just discovered fig waffles today too — the Lifestream ones, right?! I didn’t buy any but I am tempted… I might try them or just stuff some figs into homemade waffles. But once you make homemade waffles once, it’s that much easier to get into the routine of making them. Then you get really fast and it’s super easy (there is dish clean-up involved, though, yuck). It’s so good to hear from you again. 🙂
