From what I can tell, a successful kids’ birthday party has three components:
1. Presents.
2. Pizza.
3. And cake. Emphasis on the cake!
Why not save time and energy by combining two of the three?

Cake Batter Pizza
(Serves 1-2)
- 70 grams (1/2 cup) flour (I used two parts spelt flour to one part coconut flour. White flour or whole wheat pastry flour work too. You can also make a Gluten-Free Version.)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- sweetener (such as 2 tbsp sugar or 2 nunaturals stevia packets)
- 100 grams (a little under 1/2 cup) water or other liquid, such as juice or milk of choice
- 32g (2 tablespoons) coconut oil, or applesauce for a fat-free version (or try using pumpkin, canola oil, mashed banana, or even baby food!)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- optional, for a buttery “cake” flavor: 1/4 tsp butter extract (It’s vegan)
- A few handfuls of sprinkles
Cook in an un-preheated oven at 400F for 14-15 minutes or until done. Leave out 10 minutes before cutting around the sides and then transferring to a plate. (Note: be sure to spray your cake pan. If you have trouble with a pizzert that sticks to the pan, try putting it onto a sprayed or oiled baking sheet instead, and use a rolling pin to flatten.)
See original pizzert post for: Calories and Nutrition Facts.
I made this for my little friend who loves spwinkles (her way of saying “sprinkles”). Hanging out with little kids gives you the chance to act like a little kid, yourself. And if–by the end of the night–you’ve not been “spwinkled” out, you can always chase down your dessert pizza with:
The famous Cake Batter Milkshake.
Do you like pizza?
What are your favorite toppings? Aside from sprinkles, of course!

omg, i love you! CAKE ANYTHING grabs my attention immediately! Ill be on this verrryyyy soon 😀
Do you have a cake batter baby recipe in the works?!
I have thought about it!! Technically, the babies are supposed to be raw, but that didn’t stop me from making a smores one. So why not sprinkles? But next up is either cake batter ice cream or cake batter oatmeal… or cake batter baked oats! I’m loving this sprinkle thing!
you used the word “infamous” incorrectly
You wanna pick a fight with someone who got 1600 on her SATs? Really? Yes, I know “infamous” has a negative meaning. I was making a joke.
On second thought, I’ll just change it. It obviously means more to you than to me, since you bothered to take time out of your day to point out my “mistake” (which really wasn’t, in fact, a mistake).
Wow, Katie, I knew you were smart, but 1600?! You’re a genius!!! Share some of those brains, girl ;).
And lol about the anonymous comment. Now that you changed it, hopefully she’ll be able to sleep nights! 😉
Heya! this looks amazing!! One question: It might be because it’s 1:30 am lol but i can’t seem to find the vanilla fudge frosting recipe – that or there is something i’m missing in the link! hehehe 😉 i’m sure it’s here somewheres!

Ooo let me know what you think if you do try it! 🙂
hi Katie!!
so i just tried it – and the frosting (i only had coconut oil not coconut butter and it worked deliciously!! it was kind of buttery and very tasty and i added a splash of vanilla soy milk to get it going in my blender!) and i absolutely LOVED it! i’ve been on a bit of a cleanse lately – mostly just eating all the good stuff, tons of veggies, smoothies, with reasonable grains etc. and nuts and seeds etc. so this was just the treat i needed! hehehe :oD
thank you so much ! cant’ wait to try more of your recipes :oD

Allison
Aw Allison, I’m so excited you tried it!! Yay!! hehe 🙂
This looks so delicious!! I’m gluten free and it is great to see blogs that post gluten free variations!!! I am so confused as to what recipe you used for the delicious looking frosting.. can you help me?? Thank you!
Hey Dana! The frosting is linked in the words “Vanilla Fudge Frosting.” Here’s the link: https://lett-trim.today/2011/01/18/coconut-banana-butter/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
It’s also gluten-free :).
Whoa. This looks delicious. I want to make this…. too bad I juuuust celebrated a friend’s bday this past weekend. I don’t think I have any bdays coming up soon… wahhhh
Celebrate an UN birthday! 😉
Thank you soooo much! My son will have this on his first birthday!!!!!
I am excited!
But your frosting looks alot ‘whiter’ than in your recipe you liked to. Did you do anything different?
Wendi
Hey Wendi! Let me know how he likes it!! 🙂
As for the frosting, the difference is probably that I omitted the cinnamon this time. Also, the photo was taken in very bright light, so it might be a little washed out. lol
I just made the pizzert this morning. I used 2 tbsp banana, cinnamon, and chocolate chips with peanut butter on top for an Elvis-like variation. I also used 1/4 cup oatmeal and 1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour. It was really good, but I didn’t have a small enough pie pan so I just put it on a cookie sheet. It reminded me of a thick pancake and I threw in some sprinkles for good measure, I ate 3/4 of it though 🙂 Thanks for all the delicious recipes.
Aww, thank YOU for trying them! Seriously, it always makes me so happy!
Wow, Katie! These cake batter recipes look AMAZING!!!! I can’t wait to try them! Thank you for posting them! You are so talented and creative!!! 🙂
Aww thanks, Ashley!
