What if I told you this creamy dessert in front of you is actually healthy chocolate mousse:

This velvety chocolate mousse is so rich and so thick that anyone who tries it will swear it must be full of heavy cream and calories.
But surprisingly, it’s not at all!
See those two chocolate-filled glasses?

I ate them both.
Joey doesn’t share food.
Katie doesn’t share chocolate.
What food do you think is too good to share? Brownies are too good to share! And chocolate fudge pie! I also like to have my own coconut butter so I can eat it straight from the jar. And now this rich chocolate mousse.
Way too good to share…

Healthy Chocolate Mousse
(Serves 2-4)
- 6 oz Mori-Nu silken-firm tofu (Click for a Soy-Free Chocolate Mousse Recipe)
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips, or 1 and 1/4 chocolate bars in the flavor of your choice (3-oz bars)
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp milk of choice
- 1/16 tsp salt
- pinch uncut stevia OR 2 tbsp sugar or sweetener of choice
Melt the chocolate, either on the stove or in the microwave. Then throw everything into a Magic Bullet or food processor and blend until super-smooth. (I used a Magic Bullet. If your food processor is really big, or if you’re using a blender, it might be a good idea to double the recipe in order for the contents to blend smoothly.)

Do you have a good substitute for tofu if a person is allergic to soy? Great recipes 🙂
Try my “chocolate frosting shots” mousse recipe 🙂
I just made this. It is so delicious thank you! I also blended in some pomegranate seeds and topped it off with some as well. Thank you! Love all the recipes of yours that I’ve made 🙂
Could you use coconut milk?
Yes!
I love those fancy glasses! Where’d you get them??
Michaels, I think.
I have been using 2 scoops Isagenix’s chocolate Isalean Shake, coconut milk, 4 dates, squirt of stevia, 1 1/2 avocado and it is by far the best pudding I have tried. Yours sounds very good too; but, I like getting the 24 grams of protein from the Isagenix’s Isalean Shake and just tossing it into the Vita Mix!
Also, the Product B on my websight gives me enough energy to do everything I want to do even if I am 66 years old! Loving a raw deal with Product B to boot it up just a notch! Go to http://iluvproductb.com to get the Isalean Shake!
Even my picky eater husband liked this one!
Just made it-LOVE!!! FYI I would say this makes 4 normal/moderate servings. YUM! Can’t wait to make again and again. The macronutrients on this are fantastic. And it needs no additional sweetener from agave IMHO
I FINALLY tried these after trying Vegan Divas mousse- which is waaaay too sweet and decadent.
OMG, thanks so much. It’s my new addiction. Pls post if you’ve any modifications!
I made this and it is excellent!! So smooth, chocolatey, and delicious. I topped mine with nuts!
I totally love this! I didn’t use any sweetener either, other than the chocolate bar. I used orange Lindts – love that orange/chocolate thing. Thanks Katie! Totally satisfied my chocolate mousse craving.
