Do you want to be a taste-tester for Chocolate-Covered Katie??

You won’t get to taste this:

banana peanut butter

That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.

I already know it’s good!

Food Styling Tip:

You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.

Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*

Do you want to be a taste-tester?

There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:

I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. Smile

For the first round:

Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:

  • Molten Chocolate Cake for One
  • Vegan Cheesecake
  • Hot Apple Crumble Bars
  • Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread

If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)

Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

I would be willing to test the molten lava cake for one and the peanut butter cookie dough bread!

I would be happy to come to EACH and EVERY person’s house and try their version of the above recipes.

Oh, and I’d even try to make the cheesecake and/or apple crumb bars myself as a taste-tester. I made vegan apple cake last holiday season and vegan pumpkin pie. Both were AWESOME. (I have no witnesses to this fact, b/c I ate all of the above thanks to an ill-timed blizzard…Thank goodness for the invention of the “Iron Gym door workout.”)

Sounds fun and I’ve loved every recipe of yours I’ve tried! I’d like to try the Molten Chocolate Cake for One (even though I will have to share it with my kids!) and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread.

Fact: I was *this* close to writing a parenthetical statement in my post that said, after the part where I asked for taste testers: (Emma!!!)
But then I didn’t want you to feel obligated, so I left it out. But I seriously was thinking about writing that in there LOL!

Katie, I think I may have been born for this role! I would love to try any recipes for you, especially the cheesecake. Or anything gluten-free/raw/low-sugar/soy-free… I have been trying to incorporate these features into my baking/treat-making 🙂

I would absolutely love to be a taste-tester! My top picks are Vegan Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough bread. I love your blog and all the recipes–I just made some of the chocolate fudge pie and my residents and I (I’m an RA at my school) have been devouring it. I also made a double batch of chocolate-chip blondies for our first floor meeting, and everyone loved them! One of my residents can’t have gluten–yay for chickpeas! Thanks so much for all you do.

Apple bars and cookie dough bread, please! I love recipe testing for other people, since there are usually only a few changes to make. Most of the hard work is done!
