You won’t get to taste this:
That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.
I already know it’s good!
Food Styling Tip:
You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.
Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*

Do you want to be a taste-tester?
There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:
I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. ![]()
For the first round:
Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:
- Molten Chocolate Cake for One
- Vegan Cheesecake
- Hot Apple Crumble Bars
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread
If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)
Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

Oh my! I’d love to test the Molten Chocolate Cake and Hot Apple Crumble Bars!
I was just thinking literally 1 second ago how I was missing doing testing for a cookbook (I just finished a project). Then I read this! I can only make gluten-free stuff, or adapt the recipes to gluten-free. But if that’s ok, I’d do any of them! My husband would be so happy. He wants me to make more treats.
ahhh I would love to be a taste tester :)! any chance I can score a recipe for that molten chocolate cake for one? You know me and single serve recipes 😉
Hi! I have been reading your blog for a while but haven’t commented until now (sorry for being so creepy)! I would love love LOVE to try the hot apple crumble bars! Or the molten chocolate cake…. ah how can I possibly decide! Okay… the hot apple crumble bars I think!
Thank you for this–it is an amazing idea!
Aww hi!!!
*Waves like a crazy girl* 🙂
Umm wow!! I’d loove to test the pb cookie dough bread and the molten lava cake!!!
I would love to try any of the recipes as long as they are gluten-free! From looking at the list I think the only one would be the cheesecake but my preference would be for the molten lava cake 🙂
I would be so privileged to be a taste-tester: I’m having a lot of blood sugar issues at the moment so some healthier dessert ideas would be fantastic. Not that there aren’t already a million ideas on your blog, but I am inherently lazy and the taste test would be a great motivator to me to actually get in the kitchen!

oh my gosh, id love to try the peanut butter cookie dough bread! YUM!
I’d LOVE to taste test the apple crumble bars!! Send the recipe on please!! I’ll be the best taste tester ever!
(P.S. Can I add this to my resume?)
I’d LOVE to help test the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread! I’ve already been experimenting with peanut butter breads this week so this would be right up my alley. 🙂
Hi Katie! I’d love to try any and all recipes you wanted to send my way!! The thought of a healthy chocolate lava cake just makes my toes currrlllll!
