You won’t get to taste this:
That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.
I already know it’s good!
Food Styling Tip:
You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.
Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*

Do you want to be a taste-tester?
There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:
I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. ![]()
For the first round:
Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:
- Molten Chocolate Cake for One
- Vegan Cheesecake
- Hot Apple Crumble Bars
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread
If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)
Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

I would love to taste test all three of the receipes!!
I would test any of these!
Molten Chocolate Cake for One
Hot Apple Crumble Bars
Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread
I can never turn down chocolate! I’d love to try the Molten Chocolate Cake for One!! I love all the single lady recipes!!
I don’t know that you need any more taste testers, but I’d love to try the Hot Apple Crumble Bars!
Hi Katie,
Did you think of a way to submit your awesome recipes to willing testers? I’ve tested recipes for a vegan cookbook author before and she had created a free forum to post recipes in. The testers commented their modifications etc. right below the recipe. It was fun!
I am thinking along those lines! 🙂
Hoping to get some recipes posted this week!
Molten chocolate cake for one! Oh my gosh! You don’t realize how much I love you right now! I recently started running agian and I’m trying to lose my baby weight (my daughter is 9 months) and I have a MAJOR sweet tooth! You have totally saved me with your recipes! 🙂 Keep up the good work!

pb cookie dough bread (gluten free?) molten lava cake and apple crumble bars
Wow you got alot of responses! That’s wonderful! If you are still willing to accept more taste testers I would love to try the molten chocolate cake for one, vegan cheesecake and apple crumble bars. Thanks for the opportunity. I recently found your site and keep returning to it. I’m dairy and soy free and trying to reduce yeast, sugar and eggs. I have only tried the apple cinnamon boatmeal so far, but really liked it and am looking forward to trying more recipes very soon. Thanks and have a lovely day
I would love to have you as a taste tester :).
So far, all I’ve posted (of the ones you mentioned) is the cheesecake, but I’d love to hear your thoughts if you get a chance to make it.

I WOULD LOVE TO BECOME A FOOD TEASER FOR YOU .
Will you continue posting new tester recipes? I just looked for the page but couldn’t find it anymore :(. I would reaaaally like to try the Molten Chocolate Cake (um, it’s chocolate after all …).
I’m actually getting ready to ask for real testers for a cookbook… but I do have a sugar-free deep-dish cookie pie recipe that needs testing at the moment!
If you try it, I would absolutely LOVE to know your thoughts (good or bad… seriously, don’t be shy about telling me the truth if you hate it lol).
Use the basic recipe for the deep-dish cookie pie, but just leave out all sugar. Add 2 cups pitted dates (300g), three stevia packets, and 1/2 cup almond milk. Process in 2 or 3 batches, because the food processor will have a hard time doing it all at once. Then add in the chocolate chips (or sugar-free chocolate chips if you wish).
No worries if you never get around to making this one (or if it’s not up your alley)!
Oh, I SO would love to try the recipe but don’t have access to stevia (not sold in Germany).
Do you think I might be a tester for your cookbook? I’ve been a huge fan of your blog and recipes for years now. I’d be very happy to help (and eat delicious food, naturally)!
I haven’t figured out how I’m going to even ask yet, but I’ll definitely talk more about it on the blog when I figure it all out!
