You won’t get to taste this:
That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.
I already know it’s good!
Food Styling Tip:
You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.
Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*
Do you want to be a taste-tester?
There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:
I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. ![]()
For the first round:
Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:
- Molten Chocolate Cake for One
- Vegan Cheesecake
- Hot Apple Crumble Bars
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread
If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)
Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

Hey Katie! I am up for testing any and all of your recipes! So put me down for one of everything ;D May I ask if I could post pics of the results on my blog? (recipes would not be given away, of course!)
Yes ma’am!! Most definitely 🙂
Fantastic! I would be very happy to do so if you need me to test 🙂
Molten Chocolate Lava Cake for one!! ALL THE WAY 😀
I will test ANYTHING! I can see that plenty of other people feel the same way…how will you ever choose?!
I’d love to try anything you want to have me try. They all sound amazing! What a fun idea! 🙂
If you haven’t maxed our your testers, I’d love to give the Motlen Chocokate Cake a try. I love your single serve desserts. I can’t have much more than once serving in the house, or I’ll eat it all in one day! LOL Thank goodness for the freezer 😉
I would also love to do the cheesecake! But any of them really.. 🙂
I’d love to be a taste tester! either the molten chocolate cake or the PB cookie dough bread 🙂
I would love to test any and all of your recipes that you need someone to test. ~lynna
Thanks for the photography tips for food, this is something I’m trying to learn more about, do it’s very helpful. I would also LOVE to taste test the Hot Apple Crumble Bars! 🙂
Miss CCK… I would love to taste any of these if anyone wants to make them for me in about a week 😉 Ha ha, I do have a question for you, I am hosting a BUNCO night at my house in a couple of weeks and am obligated to serve dinner and dessert… most of these ladies are not health freaks like myself and probably don’t really care if it is “vegan” or “healthy” they just want it to be GOOD, so I turn to you. Can you recommend one of your desserts that would be easy on the health freaks and tasty for the non health freaks??? I love everything and can’t pick one! Thanks girl!
I would so rec the chocolate pie (with basically just tofu and chocolate)…so rich and delicious and no one olever knows it even had tofu…promise! I made it twice in the last 2weeks and served to many unsuspecting people 🙂
Agreed about the ultimate-chocolate pie. Either that or the deep-dish cookie pie. Both always get rave reviews from “normal” eaters. And let me know how it goes if you do make one!!
Just don’t make the spinach ice cream ;).
