You won’t get to taste this:
That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.
I already know it’s good!
Food Styling Tip:
You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.
Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*
Do you want to be a taste-tester?
There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:
I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. ![]()
For the first round:
Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:
- Molten Chocolate Cake for One
- Vegan Cheesecake
- Hot Apple Crumble Bars
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread
If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)
Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

I love them all! My husband said , “Peanut Butter Cookie dough Bread!”
I’d be a tester for any of those except the peanut butter one – I have a son with severe peanut allergies. I usually just sub in WOW butter or almond butter!
I thought of you today as I was baking with my 3.5 year old daughter. As she popped a chocolate chip into her mouth and licked the baking bowl clean she said “mom, I love chocolate!” Too cute!
Awwww!! A mini chocoholic in the making! So cute!
And you could definitely do the pb bread recipe with another nut butter :).
I would try them all!
I’d definitely be interested in the vegan cheesecake! yumyumyum 🙂 I’ve been on a kick lately making your agar puddings, which are so delicious and the flavor variations are endless!
Just finishing up Real Food Challenge training and my partner and I woul love to try the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread!
YUM – molten lava cake for one and/or PB cookie dough bread… I don’t remember how I discovered your site earlier this week but OH MY GOODNESS!!! I’m not vegan and told someone recently that I could “never be vegan” because I love baking & desserts too much… (and when I hear “V” I instantly think carob chips – gross! No chocolate?!?!) I made your big bowl of cookie dough dip (but with a little ww flour to make it thicker) and grabbed a spoon and was in absolute heaven. My quest toward a more natural, healthy lifestyle (without the scale and the word “diet”) been switching my focus to locally-grown/organic/veggie-based meals but I can’t fathom life without dessert (I too am a self-proclaimed SERIOUS chocoholic)! I can’t tell you how excited I was to find your blog and drool over your recipes. Also (and this is a long comment!) I appreciate your “About me” section – I struggle with my weight (I know sugar and desserts take a huge part of that blame) and had never heard from anyone “on the other side.” It was incredibly affirming to read your story. I’m glad I found your blog and I’m super excited to make more recipes!! Have you thought about turning it into a book? (Pretty please?)
Awww thank you, Michelle! Yes, there is definitely going to be a book :).
And I felt the same way as you!! I thought vegans couldn’t eat chocolate! Sooooo glad we were wrong about that ;).
I’m in! I’ll do any of them 🙂 They all sound amazing.
I’d wish to have the recipe for the pb cookie dough! If I ike it, I will test it for sure!
Molten chocolat cake for one. My brother and I have a thing for molten chocolat cakes
Molten chocolat cke and appel crumbel bar
