Oh my goodness, yes! In just 5 minutes, you can make this decadent-yet-good-for-you chocolate oatmeal for one.

It’s like dessert for breakfast!

I don’t let chance dictate whether my day gets off to a good start. I’d rather make sure it’ll be a good day… by consuming chocolate first thing.

Sometimes, it’s in the form of my Chocolate Banana Bread.

Or this ultra creamy Vegan Chocolate Mousse.

But often, it simply means mixing a spoonful of chocolate peanut butter into my morning oatmeal, or cutting a big hunk off a 100% chocolate bar to eat on the side of whatever breakfast I might be having.

Chocolate oatmeal?! Oh my goodness, yes! Continue reading: https://lett-trim.today/2011/09/21/five-minute-chocolate-oatmeal/

It’s not possible to eat chocolate and frown at the same time.

Really, it’s not. Try it!

Am I wrong? Can you do it?

Well, then at least I got you to eat some chocolate!

I made this for breakfast this morning.. I did add a little natural peanut butter 🙂 mmmm chocolate and peanut butter 🙂 and actually made it until lunch without craving a sweet snack! Thank you! I am trying so hard to be healthy and sweets are my downfall… This satisfies my sweet tooth without being bad for me!

I love so much on your website… You are awesome!

I lovelovelove this recipe 🙂 Throwing in some peanut butter tops it off just right, or some vanilla yogurt, even (which I don’t do often; yay lactose intolerance!)
I prefer rolled oats just because I’m a college student and I’m usually rushing this way and that in the morning. They cook faster. but maybe I ought to give those steel-cut a shot on my break, huh?

Oh my gosh, this just made me so happy. It made a nice, quick, delicious supper as I was just cooking for me tonight! I added chocolate chips and raspberries…no extra sweetener needed! I’m not a vegan, but your blog is so great- I get to have chocolate and still eat healthy! Thank you! 🙂

My favorite way to eat oatmeal is to combine 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of milk, 1 apple peeled and sliced into little cubes, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of apple pie spice, and either 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey. Tastes like apple pie!

  8. The Great 59lb Weight Loss says:

This is one of my favorite ways to eat oatmeal. I make mine sans the milk, with 1/2 a banana, a teaspoon or two of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of cashew butter for creamy goodness. Vanilla and cinnamon are great additions as well. 🙂
