The new FFA.
One of the best things about my cousins is their adventurous spirits. While many other children won’t touch a stalk of broccoli with a ten-foot pole, these cute kids jump at every chance to try something unusual.
Something like… Raw Macaroons
The boys enjoyed the banana hammocks even more after they learned what a banana hammock actually is. Then they kept running around the house yelling “banana hammock!!”
Boys are easily amused.
And then there was All-Fruit Ice Cream
But the foodie adventures didn’t stop there: After they informed me that they love Whole Foods, we just had to make a trip to the grand opening of the chain’s newest store.
Who needs Toys-R-Us? A few hours spent at Whole Foods = perfection.

I think my “weird” thing must be taking pictures of food and loving grocery shopping. I know those are not weird for other bloggers but for my friends in “real life” they are 😀
If we would have Whole Foods in Finland I would spend majority of my free time there 🙂
I too could grocery shop for hours. Sometimes on a Saturday, I put my ipod on and wander the store for a good 1.5 hrs. I take trips to Toronto to hit up several markets and grocery stores all in one day, then about an hour clothes shopping. Most of the day is spent buying food and stocking my cooler with ice to bring the cold stuff home!
Nobody in my family understands me! They all think I’m a complete weirdo for constantly reading food blogs and being so enthralled with healthy food. Every once in a while, when I’m on my laptop, my mom will ask, “What are you looking at? Food?” and then laugh. Sighhh, I feel so misunderstood. 😉 Oh well, it won’t change a thing. I get heart palpitations when I walk inside a Whole Foods, especially if it’s been a while since my last visit. I will gasp and whisper under my breath in total amazement. Haha. And it seems like I’m constantly bringing home bags of groceries…I basically have a never-ending grocery list. Not good for my financial situation, but so much fun!
Well, I like to read cookbooks. Really read them. More than once (and I own an every-changing collection of hundreds of cookbooks).
Not to mention that I am always trying new recipes. I’d get really, really bored making the same few meals all the time.
Wow–that Whole Foods looks enormous. I am sure I could easily drop a few hours in there and more cash than I am willing to admit ha!
Oh, I love wandering grocery stores. I just hate having to decide what treasures I can afford to take home with me – I’d like to take them all!
I also like to purchase and read cookbooks like they are novels. Is that weird?
