The new FFA.
One of the best things about my cousins is their adventurous spirits. While many other children won’t touch a stalk of broccoli with a ten-foot pole, these cute kids jump at every chance to try something unusual.
Something like… Raw Macaroons

The boys enjoyed the banana hammocks even more after they learned what a banana hammock actually is. Then they kept running around the house yelling “banana hammock!!”
Boys are easily amused.

And then there was All-Fruit Ice Cream
But the foodie adventures didn’t stop there: After they informed me that they love Whole Foods, we just had to make a trip to the grand opening of the chain’s newest store.

Who needs Toys-R-Us? A few hours spent at Whole Foods = perfection.

I can totally relate to the Whole Foods thing! There’s only a few WF stores in Canada and neither is close to my city at all. Whenever I go to the States (usually 1-2 times a year), I always look for the nearest WF (and Starbucks )locations! We’re going to Maui in 12 days and I’ve already found the nearest store (and requested a visit there 🙂
My fiancee teases me so much about how we have to go “grocery shopping” every time we’re on vacation! But I LOVE Whole Foods… I could spend hours there. I once spent 30 mins trying to decide on a yogurt! And don’t get me started on how much I stock up on bars & other products I can’t buy in Canada when I actually do get to a WF store. Love it.
Those are some smart kids! Most kids I know hate grocery shopping. I don’t know why, you’d think they’d like it because that’s where all the candy is! 🙂
Those kids are too cute! And that’s very cool that they are willing to try new things! I’m convinced that many kids who are picky eaters are only picky because their parents just feed them pizza and chicken strips and things just because they don’t think they’d like anything else. They don’t let them TRY new things!
!I could spend hours and hours in there just wandering around… never gets old!
I love it when kid’s aren’t afraid to try new things! Good for you for introducing them to all that yumminess. On my days off, I like to cook and bake – and my family/co-workers don’t really understand…
banana hammock is such a funny word!
I love visiting Whole Foods in other cities! No matter where I go, I must out the local Whole Foods. So far, I’ve deduced that Memphis has the crappiest WF of them all. It used to be a Wild Oats, and its very small. I wish we had a super Whole Foods!!!
Hours in Whole Foods, TJ’s, the cereal aisle at Target… uhhh =P
Hmm, clipping coupons for FOOD, rummaging through recipes, going to bed planning what I am going to eat for breakfast the next morning. The list goes on and on… 🙂
Happy WEDNESDAY Katie! 🙂
I love seeking out health food stores when I visit other cities, especially little local ones in hopes of finding products I can’t find in Nashville. So fun, and only something a fellow foodie would understand. 🙂
Wow a WFM with a parking deck!? I don’t care where that is, I want to travel to see that. I love that store
welp, I don’t even think the pickiest of eaters could resist the allure of your treats my dear. Glad the tots like ’em! Your gonna be such a faboosh mama.. packing your kids fudge babies in their lunch boxes. Adopt me?!
