The new FFA.
One of the best things about my cousins is their adventurous spirits. While many other children won’t touch a stalk of broccoli with a ten-foot pole, these cute kids jump at every chance to try something unusual.
Something like… Raw Macaroons

The boys enjoyed the banana hammocks even more after they learned what a banana hammock actually is. Then they kept running around the house yelling “banana hammock!!”
Boys are easily amused.

And then there was All-Fruit Ice Cream
But the foodie adventures didn’t stop there: After they informed me that they love Whole Foods, we just had to make a trip to the grand opening of the chain’s newest store.

Who needs Toys-R-Us? A few hours spent at Whole Foods = perfection.

i love your blog, I have learned something new today, thanks for sharing
Aw!! I LOVE the future foodies!!! 😀
My favorite foodie thing to do is take photos of my food. Usually folks think I’m bonkers. LOL
And, hey, I linked to you in my latest post: Chocolate-Covered Cherry Smoothie

I love spending hours on weekends washing, prepping, baking, cooking and freezing foods. People laugh when I tell them I spend 8 hours in the kitchen and love it! Perhaps I should have become a chef rather than an accountant…
Haha, the same goes for my family–my dad and I love to skip through the aisles of WF, but my mom and sisters think we’re crazy. Another foodie thing I do is peruse the Williams Sonoma catalog very closely–my Mom calls me all the way from home in Alabama to tell me when it has arrived in the mail!
shopping at whole foods is the equivalent of a kid in a candy store for me.
every time i go- i just want to buy the whole store!
i sersisouly take 40$ with me, and LEAVE the rest of my wallet (and credit/debit cards!!) at HOME.
that way, i only get a few treats and get to go back AGAIN AND AGAIN 😀
I love browsing grocery stores!! My fiance doesn’t seem to understand though….. Oh well, I just leave him at home sometimes 🙂
Hey, I’m having a cookie giveaway of sorts to go with my upcoming defense, and i’d love to get some input from you! http://theradioactivegan.blogspot.com/2010/03/cookies-all-around.html
Your cousins all get gold stars for foodie adventuresomness… I don’t care if that’s not in fact remotely a word, it should be just for them. I was a picky little eater as a kid. I didn’t even like bananas! So I definitely wouldn’t have been munching on banana hammocks. Oh sigh. SO glad that’s changed!
I’m so with you on food shopping. I could do it for hours!
ewww, banana hammocks, ewww! new name please!!! 🙂
I love learning about new foods and have discovered so many through the blogs. Some of my friends think it’s strange that I prefer rice milk, or add flax to every single breakfast, but generally they are open to trying new things too.
