My New Cookbook Is Finally Here!

**For the month of December (2024), I’m donating all proceeds from sales of my book to charity.

hello breakfast recipes

It’s finally available!

A Chocolate Covered Katie ebook, filled with over 50+ new healthy recipes, both sweet and savory.

The book includes breakfast, and also healthy snacks, dinner, and dessert!

I’ve gotten so many messages and comments these past few months from readers asking when the new ebook would be coming out, and it was really hard not to say anything… I think I am more excited about this breakfast ebook than I’ve ever been about anything else on the blog.

I have never commented before but I check your blog all the time and tell lots of people about it. I love your recipes. I would love a print out version if that’s possible. Thank you.

    1. Julie Dove says:

      Just emailed you!

  2. Thalia says:

Is there a way to buy the book without using PayPal?
How do we get a print copy?

    1. Julie Dove says:

Hi, you can definitely buy without paypal! If you click on paypal (on the purchase screen for the book) and are not logged into a paypal account, it will transfer you to a page that gives you the option to pay with a card.
And if you want, after that, I can send you a copy that you can print out 🙂

      1. Thalia says:

Great – thank you! Your recipes are wonderful and I appreciate your flexibility.

  3. Christina says:

        Hello –
Sorry to be one of many asking for a printed version of this ebook but I too would love a print out copy! Please let me know hot to proceed. Been a long time fan and plan on purchasing any books Katie comes out with. Thank you!

  4. Kate says:

Will you be selling the book through any other sellers (amazon, etc)?

    1. Julie Dove says:

Hi, if you mean other sellers besides paypal, as long as you are not logged into any Paypal account, if you click the Paypal link when it asks you to pay, it will take you to a place where you can pay with any credit card even if you don’t have a Paypal account. (The book isn’t on amazon.)

  5. Tonia says:

I bought this straight away, but I’m having trouble locating a recipe.

Page 71 under casseroles is an amazing looking photo. I want to make it but I didn’t see a corresponding recipe. Can you tell me the name of the dish and where to find it?

    1. Julie Dove says:

Hi, the photos on the “chapter” pages are just stock photography that the designer who put the ebook together added. Sorry for the confusion!

  6. Marguerite Longtin says:

Oh, I wish this was a real book instead of an downloaded version. It is difficult to have fond memories of an ebook- no smutz on the pages from making that memorable birthday breakfast, etc.

    1. Chocolate Covered Katie says:

I really wish it too. I’m still trying to get publishers to see that a non-dessert book is what people really wants to see. So far, they’re only offering a book deal for another dessert book, but I refuse to abandon my dream. Had to find a way to at least get one book out in the meantime 🙂

      1. Hungry Girl says:

Just so you know, Katie, you can offer physical copies yourself via CreateSpace on Amazon.

  7. Marsha says:

I bought 2! One for me and one to share! Congrats! Love your first cook book and all the recipes I’ve tried! Thank you for sharing your gift!

    1. Chocolate Covered Katie says:

Thank you so incredibly much. This made my morning. 🙂

  8. Cath Campbell says:

Hello Katie, I just downloaded your new cookbook! I am so excited to add it to your other one in my collection. Can’t wait to try out some of the recipes… Thank You, thank you, thank you!

    1. Chocolate Covered Katie says:

      Thank YOU! 🙂 🙂

  9. Alpine Pedestrian says:

I personally am glad it’s an ebook. It helps cut down on the physical clutter of my small place, and I find ebooks just as usable as hard copies. Thanks for the ebook version!

    1. Julie Dove says:

      Wastes less paper too!

  10. michelle says:

Do you plan to make this available as a printed book also?

    1. Julie Dove says:

This book will only be available in the one format. At least it means you can get it immediately! (Silver lining.) We really wish there were a hard copy, but unfortunately publishers right now are only interested in having Katie do dessert books even though she knows her audience would prefer a book that encompasses more than just dessert.

  11. Nina says:

I love your new book. Thank you for helping me start my day in a healthy way.

  12. Suzanne Meier says:

I just bought the online cookbook but would love a printable copy as well if you don’t mind sending. Thanks!! Love your recipes

  13. Sarah says:

You had me at “my new cookbook”… even before the photos.

  14. Sherry says:

I don’t know what planet I’ve been living on (or maybe it was just a really well-kept secret) but I didn’t even know you had a new cookbook coming out this soon!

I’m so excited! Literally just yesterday I tried out your pumpkin breakfast pudding (for breakfast, naturally, LOL), and it was tasty and very filling. And I am a HUGE fan of the chocolate donuts from your first cookbook (and any family members who have visited me have loved them too). And during the summer I fell in love with your one-minute cinnamon coffee cake microwave mug recipe (it became a bit of an addictive snack).

So I adore the idea of even more breakfast recipes! I can’t wait to check it out, Katie. Congratulations on the publication of this new book. That’s really fantastic.

  15. Sherry says:

P.S. I don’t care that it’s an ebook – I’ll definitely get it, especially if it helps show your publishers that these kinds of recipes are just as awesome as dessert recipes and a physical book is something we would love.

Besides, haven’t they heard of yummy brunch and breakfast-related cookbooks like Vegan Brunch by Isa Chandra Moskowitz of Post Punk Kitchen? What’s not to love about breakfast foods (savory or sweet)? It’s awesome any time of the day!

  16. Sherry says:

P.S. again. 😀 Since I’m a meddlesome web designer (*GRIN*)… now that you’ve got two books, you should have a Books page in your main navigation menu, to highlight both your physical book and your new ebook, with links to where they can be purchased. That way even as this blog entry gets older and moves down the page while new blog posts take center stage at the top, your books will always be easily findable via the main nav menu, in case people want to buy a copy (or buy another copy!), or check out your offerings if they’re totally new to the site. Just my unasked-for 2 cents! 😉 <3

    1. Julie Dove says:

I think this is a great idea. It looks like Katie has the book on her sidebar now, so it sounds like she has been listening too!
