For most people, mornings are so rushed that they’re lucky if they can find time to gulp down a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake. But every now and then, life surprises you with the gift of leisure. The following is a recipe for one of those rare mornings:
Waffles are so last year.
French Toast? Who’s that? It’s time to make room for the new kid in breakfast:
Pancake Roll Ups!

Above, Carrot Cake Pancake Roll Ups, filled with raisins and Healthy Cream Cheese Frosting, covered with carrots and more raisins and frosting.
Step One: Cook up your pancakes, a bit thinner than usual. In the photos, I used 24-Carrot Cake Pancakes.

Step Two:Â Top each pancake with lots of yum-licious ingredients

Step Three:Â Roll up the pancakes. Side note: I *heart* the cute strawberry plate from Pier One.

Step Four:Â Put more deliciousness on top!

Step Five:Â Devour your Pancake Roll Ups before other members in your house see them and beat you to it!

overnight oats for sure! yum!
Instant oatmeal!
If I know I have an early or rushed morning, I usually make overnight oats so most of the work is done for me in the morning. All I have to do is add the toppings and go! 😀
Thanks for the opportunity to win the Vega powder! 🙂
My fave instant breakfast is a granola bar or a quick bowl of cereal and milk!
favorite instant breakfast?
Eggo nutri-grain frozen waffles with a smear of almond butter! Three minutes to make and it’s delicious!
my favorite quick breakfast is just a container of yogurt and a banana. Usually I mix them up with all sorts of other goodies, but even this works well in a pinch.
Rushed mornings: cereal.
SUPER rushed mornings: yogurt + granola in a baggie to go
Super rushed morning=Green Monster with chocolate protien powder. Got to have my chocolate:)
Rushed morning usually include a smoothie because it’s quick. But if it’s super rushed I’ll grab a pre-made granola bar from the freezer.
Quick breakfasts for me are rare these days (I intentionally keep mornings slow-paced), but when necessary, it’s got to be pb or ab on toast with almond milk 🙂
