For most people, mornings are so rushed that they’re lucky if they can find time to gulp down a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake. But every now and then, life surprises you with the gift of leisure. The following is a recipe for one of those rare mornings:
Waffles are so last year.
French Toast? Who’s that? It’s time to make room for the new kid in breakfast:
Pancake Roll Ups!

Above, Carrot Cake Pancake Roll Ups, filled with raisins and Healthy Cream Cheese Frosting, covered with carrots and more raisins and frosting.
Step One: Cook up your pancakes, a bit thinner than usual. In the photos, I used 24-Carrot Cake Pancakes.

Step Two:Â Top each pancake with lots of yum-licious ingredients

Step Three:Â Roll up the pancakes. Side note: I *heart* the cute strawberry plate from Pier One.

Step Four:Â Put more deliciousness on top!

Step Five:Â Devour your Pancake Roll Ups before other members in your house see them and beat you to it!

Hot brown rice it is already pre-made and ready to go in the mornings. Mix in some peanut butter & chocolate and its yummy
If I have to be real quick in the morning and can’t eat cereals as usual, I just take some fruit [usually an apple] along my way to eat on the train… or some dried dates/figs if I have them. Another option would be a cup of chocolate.
If I know I’m going to have a rushed morning I will usually make something in advance, like overnight oats. Otherwise it’s cereal or instant oatmeal.
I love a banana with almond butter or a smoothie to-go for a rushed morning!
My favorite instant breakfast is a couple of bananas and a handful of nuts or banana milk or blueberry choc smoothie.
Favorite rushed breakfast…banana and sunbutter perhaps?! Sooo good.
My favorite brekkie on rushed mornings is toast spread thickly with almond butter and a banana. Delicious, filling and fast!
Either a smoothie packed into a to-go cup, or if I’m REALLY in a rush, probably an apple and a larabar. 🙂 -Eve
2nd question: def a shake but then again I have those everyday for b-fast even if I’m not in a rush! But in a rush they’re less elaborate and usually just almond milk and powder shaken
My favorite instant breakfast would have to be my monkey shake which is bananas, flaxseed, almond milk, and almond butter blended and then frozen for the morning so I can have a cold popsicle on my way to school.
