
I’ve been borrowing ideas from other blogs for so long that I figure it’s high time I start my own. So here’s an intro to me: I’m a college student who’s lived around the world and currently goes to SMU, in Texas. (I transferred from Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania.) I’ve been a vegan for about 7 years and vegetarian for a year before that. I am an avid animal-lover and became vegan whilst living in China, which was easy to do because they don’t eat much cheese and ice cream there (my favorite non-vegan foods).
I’m happy to be part of the blogging community!!!

You are adorable Katie! I love your blog! Initially I was “forced” into becoming vegan because I found out I was allergic to dairy products and eggs. I was already vegetarian. And, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. I changed my lifestyle and beat cancer! It is with the help of blogs like yours that I have become a creative cook with healthy foods. It goes to show that you can eat ultra-clean, enjoy food, and restore health! Keep up the good work Katie!

Oh, wow! I’ve been on a quest for gluten-free, dairy-free baking that is within the resources of a college student. (In terms of expense, yes, but also just prep time, equipment needed, practicality of storage, etc. – so single serving desserts? Revolutionary.) Your blog is a convenient resource and it looks like you have so much fun with it, that I’m now dying to try some of your recipes! So thank you. I also wanted to say that it’s uncanny how perfect this is for me. Case in point: I just transferred from Bryn Mawr.

Katie! I can’t believe I’ve loved so many food blogs for so long and I JUST NOW found your blog! AAHH, especially being obsessed with chocolate as I am….oh well, now I’m here!
