What’s your favorite type of cookie?
My favorite is anything with chocolate or chocolate chips and no oven required.
I am one of those people who likes to eat the raw cookie dough (doesn’t everyone?) and impatiently watches the oven as cookies slowly bake.
In fact, I initially planned on baking these chocolate cookies… but the dough was entirely too good to wait that long!

Ingredients
The recipe calls for unsweetened cocoa powder, oats, peanut butter, pure maple syrup or honey, salt, coconut oil, and optional pure vanilla extract.
Add a handful of mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, or shredded coconut if desired.
You can use either rolled or quick oats. I love them both ways equally, and I’ve made these a lot! The version with rolled oats will have a chewier texture, so it just depends on your own personal preference.
Peanut butter may be swapped with almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower butter.

How to make healthy chocolate no bake cookies
Gather your ingredients, along with a lined baking tray, large plate, or cookie sheet.
Warm the liquid ingredients until they are easily stir-able. You can even do this in a saucepan on the stove if you want to make the entire recipe in one pot.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill until firm enough to form into balls or cookie shapes with your hands or a cookie scoop, then place on the lined plate and chill to set.

Healthy Chocolate No Bakes
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (20g)
- 2 cups quick oats (180g) (For keto, try these Fat Bombs)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or allergy friendly sub (120g)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (48g)
- optional 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- optional handful mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut
InstructionsÂ
- Warm the liquid ingredients until easily stir-able. (Feel free to do this in a pot on the stove if you want to make the entire recipe in one pot. Turn off the heat once liquid ingredients are softened.) Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill until firm enough to form into balls or cookie shapes with your hands or a cookie scoop, then place on a wax or parchment-lined plate and chill again to set. I like to refrigerate or freeze leftovers, but they can also be left out in a cool place.View Nutrition Facts

Hi! Thanks for the recipe. You have written these could also be baked. If so for how much time, and what temperature. Also can I use maple syrup or honey instead of sugar? Thanks!
Sorry, I just read in substitution about as it is, so no problem about maple syrup or honey. Thanks 🙂
How many medium sized cookies does this make??
Just made these for Superbowl Sunday. They were a HIT!!!
These didn’t work for me as no bake cookies. Not sure where I went wrong. Dough was very sticky/oily and couldn’t roll it into cookies shapes even after putting in fridge. Iused olive oil as that’s all I had which gave it a very strong taste! However, I did end up baking them and have added a bit of chocolate icing on top and they are very yummy. Turned out like a healthier version of Afghans.
You need to follow the recipe and use coconut oil for them to work as no bake cookies.
These were delicious! However, they were quite dry and crumbly and wouldn’t stick together so I added more oil… Still not great so I baked them for about 15m. Still a bit crumbly but not falling apart anymore. I also only got 12, to get 26 I would have had to make them really small, like thumb size.
I used coconut oil, 90% cocoa chocolate bits, ground coffee and sugar. Yum yum!
Yes!!!! these are now my new go-to for gluten free choc chip cookies. I’ve been searching for so long and these are absolutely perfect!
Too much coffee for me. Also didn’t use baking soda at all. I put mine in the microwave then put on top of strawberries to make the coffee tase less intense.
I made them. They are delicious. My kids really liked them, and no-bake is a lovely way to make a cookie ball. I will make again. Thanks for sharing!
HI! If I wanna try baking this, how long and at what temperature?
Thanks and much love! xx
