Four little, Five little, Six little vegans…
Who knew there were so many vegans in Dallas, Texas?!
Starting this blog has been a blessing, because it’s enabled three other Dallas vegans to find me. Since I’d previously never met another vegan in Dallas, I knew we would *have to* get together! So one cool Friday night, I drove to Veggie Garden to finally meet some people like me. There were 7 of us in all, as one of the girls brought two vegan friends an another brought her vegetarian husband (for once, the non-vegan was in the minority!). We had tons of fun, sharing stories about our vegetarianism and about life in general (we were all around the same age, give or take a few years). Oh yeah, and we ate a lot, too. 😉
Below is my plate of food– Chick’n and mixed Veg in Tangy Sauce (I also had a side of bok choy).
And here we are in all our vegetarian glory!

How awesome that you’ve met other Dallas vegans! I never thought there were any Houston vegans, but they are lurking out there as well. My little brother lives up in Dallas… the next time I visit him we should try to get together!
