Peanut Butter Babies
(Makes 120 grams, which is a tiny bit more than the size of two Larabars)
- 1/4 cup roasted, salted peanuts (30g) (I use roasted-unsalted, and I add about 1/8 tsp plus 1/16th tsp salt.)
- scant 2/3c dates (80g) (I use SunMaid, because they’re super-soft.)
- 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate chips or cocoa powder
Blend the ingredients in your food processor (I used a Magic Bullet short cup). Smush into bars, roll into balls, or use cookie cutters! These peanut butter fudge baby bars taste divine warmed up a little in the microwave.  Oh who am I kidding? They taste divine ANY way you choose to eat them.
Pb’s brothers and sisters:
- Add dried banana for Elvis Babies
- Dip in chocolate for Buckeye Babies
- Other dried fruit for Pb&J Babies
- Add chocolate chips or cocoa for Chocolate PB Babies

I would make a green smoothie first in my Vitamix!
These fudge babies are my fave flavor! I love nut butter and chocolate anything! With the Vitamix, the first thing I would make is homemade hazelnut milk. I havent tasted it before but I heard it is richer that almond milk. My blender is so low powered that it would probably break if I attempted 🙂
I definitely have to try these!
Banana ice cream is the first thing I would make in my vita mix!
I would DEFINITELY make these PB babies first with the Vita-mix. My poor old blender sounds like it’s dying every time I use it to mix up a batch of my favorite PB (& choc chip) babies.
I would make protein ice cream first in my VitaMix! I’ve been dying to do this!!
The first thing I would make in a vitamix is soup!
mmm….peanut butterrrr..this might actually be better than my favorite way to eat PB, straight from the jar of course 🙂
Oh, yummy! The first thing I would make in my new Vita-Mix would be Peanut Butter Babies. And maybe the second and third and fourth and…………………..
I would make lots of baby food quicker than I do now with my old blender 🙂
These sound delicious! If I had a vitamix I’d make these because I love peanut butter and dark chocolate. I’d also make lots smoothies 🙂
I would make fresh strawberry ice cream with my Vitamix!
These look so amazing. I definitely plan to make several variations!!! If I had a Vitamix I would make rasberry icecream in it first thing.
these are my favorite of the babies! there are so many things i would make with a vita-mix it’s hard to choose! i think i would make a smoothie first though, just cuz i love them so much.
If I had a Vitamix the first thing I’d make in it would be roasted cauliflower soup.
I can’t wait to make this baby at home! Peanut butter is my LIFE.
The first thing I’d make with my Vitamix would be a frozen banana-peanut butter-choc chip ice cream!
I already had great results just blending frozen bananas but with a Vitamix it would be easier, quicker and possibly even creamier!
I’d add some agave or maple syrup to sweeten, the chips can be added afterwards. 😀
Wow these would be my favorite flavor!!! The first thing I would make if I had a vitamix would be my raw pina colada shake. My blender leaves it so chunky!! Then I think I would make some nut butters then some banana softserve…I want a vitamix soooo bad!
