As fun as cookie-baking can be, I was pretty tired of it by the time the bazillionth batch of cookies came out of the oven. So I decided to redirect my energy into cupcake-making (and decorating) for a completely different style of fun.
I brought the finished products to a party and watched as they all quickly disappeared. This time, I didn’t tell anyone beforehand that the cupcakes were vegan. I’d wait until one of my friends was mid-bite before asking, “How do you like the vegan cupcakes?” I guess the empty tray I took home at the end of the night answered my question for me.
Some close-ups of the popular paty guests:

you took over the party again! you rock!
your cupcakes are so expertly decorated, i would have been afraid to mess them up by eating them. 🙂
those are just beautiful! i could never. it would look worse than my stick figures. you are so artistic!
They look so cute- you have inspired me to make some cupcakes and decorate them (although they definitely won’t be as nice as yours!)
those are adorable! they must have taken you forever! 😮
those are absolutely adorable! love the pup & the stringed lights and fab altogether!
Those are so awesome! How did you get the terrier to look like that? That one’s my favourite.
OMG…wow. Those are the most adorable, yummy looking cupcakes I have ever seen!!
wow! nice decorations! I especially like those dog- and angel ones 🙂
Happy new year and keep on cooking!
Those cupcakes are just about the cutest I have ever seen! I love them! The penguin and angel are my favourite. I’ve got to make some like that myself some time, somehow frosting never wants to cooperate with me though… :/
Your cupcakes look so tasty. Did you make them without animal products? Sorry that may seem like a stupid question…because you’re a vegan, but just wanted to be sure. I have been trying to bake vegan, but I’m totally clueless on how to. I have been trying to go vegan for the past 1 1/2 years.
