As fun as cookie-baking can be, I was pretty tired of it by the time the bazillionth batch of cookies came out of the oven. So I decided to redirect my energy into cupcake-making (and decorating) for a completely different style of fun.
I brought the finished products to a party and watched as they all quickly disappeared. This time, I didn’t tell anyone beforehand that the cupcakes were vegan. I’d wait until one of my friends was mid-bite before asking, “How do you like the vegan cupcakes?” I guess the empty tray I took home at the end of the night answered my question for me.

Resolution for 2008: learn how to make vegan cakes and stop feeling tempted by non vegan ones!
I wish I was that creative!
Lovely cuppers… You bakers are amazingly patient with all the decorating you do!
