Healthy Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters

This healthy chocolate strawberry yogurt clusters recipe is easy to make and tastes like an indulgent chocolate dessert!
Prep Time5 minutes
Total Time5 minutes
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Keyword: chocolate, strawberries, yogurt
Servings: 12 chocolate clusters

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups diced strawberries (250g after dicing)
  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt or dairy free Greek yogurt (240g)
  • 2 tbsp honey or pure maple syrup (can omit if using sweetened yogurt)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (170g)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (12g) (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Line a baking sheet or large platter with wax or parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, stir the diced strawberries, yogurt, and sweetener until well combined.
  • 3. Drop dollops of the mixture onto the lined baking tray with a spoon. Then use the spoon to spread each into a patty shape.
  • 4. Freeze at least three hours or overnight, until fully frozen.
  • 5. Carefully melt the chocolate chips, either in the microwave or using the double boiler method on the stove top. For a smoother sauce that coats the clusters much more easily, I highly recommend stirring the optional oil into the melted chocolate.
  • 6. Remove the healthy chocolate strawberry yogurt clusters from the freezer, and dip each in the chocolate. Return to the freezer for a few minutes to set the coating.
  • 7. Enjoy cold, and keep frozen. In a covered container, leftovers should stay fresh for up to three months.
