Preheat the oven to 325 F. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan, and line the bottom with parchment paper so the loaf will easily pop out after baking. Combine all ingredients to form a batter, spread into the pan, and sprinkle optional chocolate chips on top. Bake 55 minutes on the center rack.
