- 1 small avocado (100g flesh)
- 1 1/2 cups milk of choice (360g)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (10g)
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice (45g)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (5g)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp almond butter (optional)
1. To make the avocado chocolate smoothie, first peel your avocado and discard the shell and pit.
2. Add all ingredients to a blender, then blend until thick and completely smooth.
3. Pour the blended shake into one large glass or two smaller glasses. Alternatively, pour into a bowl to create your own smoothie bowl.
4. Garnish if desired, with mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, fresh mint leaves, or fun paper straws. Enjoy cold.
